By booking a lesson you are agreeing to ICU Passing Driving School’s Terms and conditions. A copy of which is available from your instructor.
Terms and Conditions
Before ICU Passing can begin your driver training you must show your instructor a valid UK provisional license for group B cars. You must also be able to read a number plate at the required distance in line with the driving test.
Insurance
The fee for your driving lesson covers insurance for the training car being used and will cover the pupil during their driving test should they use an ICU Passing training car.
Fees
Refer to our prices page on our website for up to date prices. We require no less than 24 hrs notice for the cancellation of driving lessons. Block booked lessons and intensive courses must be completed within the time frame stated on the prices page.
Should your instructor have to cancel a lesson it will be rebooked to a convenient time for the pupil or a full refund for the lesson will be given.
Payment
Lessons can be paid for in cash or by cheque to your instructor at the start of the lesson or block of lessons. Block bookings must be paid for in full in advance or at the start of the first lesson. Payment can also be made through our website ICU Passing.com. Block bookings must be completed within 6 months of beeking.
Appointments
Your instructor will arrange appointment times with you and will endeavour to be on time. Should your instructor be delayed due to traffic conditions, adverse weather, mechanical breakdown of equipment or other reasons beyond your instructor’s control your lesson will be rescheduled to a mutually convenient time.
Pupils must be physically fit to take the lesson and must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. A breathalyser test can be provided should there be any doubt about your road worthiness.
Mobile phones must be switched off or turned to silent unless by prior arrangement with your instructor.
Tests
It is mandatory that the DSA Theory test is passed before attempting to pass the practical driving test.
Your ICU Passing instructor has the right to withhold the use of the training vehicle if he/she believes that the pupil does not reach the minimum standard required to attend a practical driving test. In this case ICU Passing will not be held responsible and fees paid to date will not be returned.
Personal Property
Any property found in an ICU Passing training vehicle will be returned by the instructor. ICU passing will not be held responsible for any property that is not found.
Complaints
Should you have a complaint please speak directly with your instructor. Every effort will be made to iron out any problems quickly and to a satisfactory conclusion for both parties. Should verbal resolution not solve the problem, please write to ICU Passing via email to suzanne@icupassing.com. You will receive a formal reply in writing by post.
